Carrie Brownstein's best-selling memoir, Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl, will form the basis of a new series for Hulu.

Confirmed to Mashable as in development, and first reported by Deadline, Hulu has ordered a pilot episode of Search and Destroy. It's a new TV project from Portlandia co-creator, Sleater-Kinney guitarist and Peabody Award winner Brownstein, along with Annapurna Television.
